Taylor Horn

Taylor was born and raised in Texas and is working on her undergraduate degree in Biology at Baylor University. Last year she participated in a research opportunity at the Waco Wetlands in which she performed a comparative analysis between sediments throughout the wetlands. The research was presented in the Baylor Biology Symposium and she was accepted as an URSA scholar. She is currently an NSF-funded REU student in the Schnable lab, where she is working on characterizing the cold senstivity/cold tolerance four grass species native to Nebraska and linking those phenotypes to changes in gene regulation.
